MELINDA KEARNS
Melinda Kearns is currently serving as Head of English at Bankstown Grammar School, a coeducational, comprehensive Anglican school located in South Western Sydney. She has a broad range of experience as an English teacher and marker, having marked Standard and Advanced English, English Extension 1 and English Extension 2 in addition to many years teaching in a range of selective, comprehensive and independent schools.

Melinda gained First Class Honours in English from the University of Sydney and has gone on to complete a Master of Education degree at the same institution. She has also been a member of the English Teachers’ Association of NSW for several years, working on their Publications and mETAphor teams and presenting to student and teacher HSC groups.

She looks forward to continuing her studies in the near future.
